lake charles, louisiana

We have done several projects (approximately 90 to date) in this 400,000 square foot class “A”, 22-story building in Lake Charles, Louisiana situated on the downtown lakefront. The projects ranged from on-going tenant improvements, space planning and shell space build-outs to the complete renovation of the (former) Hibernia National Bank main office branch in the atrium portion of the building. We have worked with several governmental agencies on different floors of the building providing security upgrades such as ballistic protection of the exterior glass walls and redundant backup systems. We served as the Architects and Project Managers on the rebuilding of the facility after it was heavily damaged during Hurricane Rita in September 2005.  The building was originally completed in 1982 as the Calcasieu Marine Tower. It was originally designed by the Houston based architectural firm Lloyd, Jones, Brewer & Associates who disbanded in 1989.  The campus including the main building, adjacent parking garage and drive-in banking facility has been owned by the Hertz Investment Group since 2007. We are proud to have served as the primary “Tower Architects” through 4 consecutive Owners over the past 18 years.
