The exterior sheathing on the walls and roof is nearly complete. Windows are being installed.
Work has begun on the installation of vinyl sheet piles along the North side of the park. The installation of vinyl sheet piles will be continuous to the South end of the property approximately 1,410 linear feet of new bulkhead. This new bulkhead will help preserve and protect the reclaimed land previously lost to erosion.
Monica Buller is a native of Lake Charles and a 2016 graduate of Alfred M. Barbe High School. She recently completed her third year in Architectural studies at Louisiana Tech University in the School of Design. Monica will be working for the summer at Vincent-Shows before returning to Tech for her fourth year. She plans to graduate with her Bachelor’s in Architecture in May 2020 and will work toward a Masters Degree in Architecture the following year.
